July 1973 Bike Trip

The Intrepid Trio of Paul Lampland, Mike Schroeder & Phil Curtis biking & camping along the North Shore of Lake Superior from Thunder Bay Ontario past Duluth to the Twin Cities (all of us at the ripe old age of 15.  Yes, our moms let us go  [re Mike's Mom on the previous year's bike trip with Lampland].  And no we didn't wear helmets).

An inland waterway the three of us passed riding south of Thunder Bay along the North Shore on a breathtakingly lovely blue-sky summer's day in 1973 . . .
