   Wednesday, May 28:  Carpet Installation Day II

A frosty morning, moon still bright. 

Plants tucked under their blankie!

Step 1:  Continue emptying the study —

Bare bones —

Boy it'll be good to see that crappy carpet go.

From the hallway.

Step 2:  You know the drill . . .

Step 3:  Screwing that plywood down . . .

Step 4:  Bob going at it —

Meanwhile in the back yard . . .

Step 5:  Clean up downstairs bathroom!  Eek what a mess!

   Thursday, May 29:  Odds-and-Ends Day

  Sunday, June 1:  Keep Rolling Day

Installing & painting bi-fold doors!  (& other small jobs like . . . cleaning & sorting my 5 laundry baskets of clothes . . . more cleaning & straightening . . . etc.) 

Later that lovely Sunday evening . . . Linda & Mary's backsplash!

Not as massive a job as it might at first appear . . .

   Monday-Tuesday, June 2-3:  Keep Rolling Days II & III

Monday, June 2 — Third and penultimate application of Penetrating Grout Sealant!

Greg from Ambulance Plumbing!  Our Hero!

Only 1 hour!  No more leaks!  No more photos of painting bi-fold doors or making thresholds or other stuff, which is probably a good thing since the resolution is lousy on these.  Maybe more tomorrow!  Plus I found a wastebasket that I think'll fit!    ♪ ♫    WooHoo!   ♪ ♫

Tuesday, June 3 — Final preparation of custom-crafted thresholds!

Special porcelain-knob bolts procured after consultation with Stadium Hardware's Nut & Bolt Specialist!  Four @ $0.16 = $0.64 plus tax!

Actually the bi-fold doors look almost exactly like the old ones — but we know they're better!  (Plus no bottom track!)
