Mathias Delehanty died at her home in this place at 1
o'clock Wednesday morning, after a short illness of heart
trouble. She was about 55 years of age and is survived
by four children. The funeral will be held Friday at
St. Mary's Church in Fair Haven. . . .

graduation exercises at Holy Cross college. Among the
graduates is Ambrose Delehanty, a son of James Delehanty.

. . James Delehanty, two daughters Misses Mary and Kate and
son, Ambrose, who had passed the winter in New York,
returned last week to their summer home in this place.
Mr. Delehanty is looking and appearing at his best and his
host of friends are pleased to see him in such good health.
His son, Ambrose, is a student in the University of New
York, where he is taking a course in civil engineering.

Miss Alice
E. Wallace, who had been ill for some time with malarial
fever, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick
Wallace, Saturday morning. She was about 34 years of
age and had lately been employed as a stenographer in the
Grenoble Hotel, in New York City. She is survived by
her parents, two sisters, Margaret of this place and Mary of
New York and one brother, Patrick Wallace of Whitehall, New
York. Her funeral was held Monday morning, at St.
Mary's Church, the Rev. P. J. Houlihan officiating.
The pallbearers were John Sheehan, Frank Malone, James
Hinchey, William Mahar, Martin McHenry, and John O'Day.
The display of floral emblems was something unusual and
served to show the high esteem in which deceased was held in
the community. The burial was in St. Mary's cemetery
on Washington St. Among those present from out of town
were Misses Mary and Helen Delehanty of New York, Dr. N. J.
Delehanty of Rutland, Martin and Patrick McHenry.
