This page serves as a repository for materials recording the births, baptisms, immigration, marriages, and deaths of the Delehantys and their kin (including obituaries), from the births of John Delehanty's ancestors & aunts & uncles in Ireland beginning around 1805 until he left Vermont around 1905. It thus also serves as a kind of master chronology for this period, something of which we historians, for our own twisted reasons, are rather fond.
The page lists all family members John Delehanty would have known, or at least would have heard about while he was growing up in West Castleton. This was his family universe -- a universe composed of around 60-70 people around Castleton & Fair Haven, some alive, some alive only in people's memories. Each person is identified by her or his relationship to John Delehanty; each entry also indicates sources and any links to images of original documents.
