only Delehanty in this collection, and it's pretty clear
that he's from the other branch of the Delehanty family,
stretching back to Richard Delehanty in the 1850s.
There are no Delehanty's in the Fair Haven-Hydeville-Castleton
area today, and only three listed in the 2007 phone
directory for Rutland County; all live in Rutland City.]

402a. "1904
Dec 20 Martha's class Fair Haven High".
[This is the year that John Delehanty, b. 1886, would have
graduated from high school. If he stayed in West
Castleton long enough to finish high school, and graduated a
year behind schedule -- not unlikely, with all the deaths in
his family -- then one of these young men might be John
Delehanty.
